Wrestling, archery and horse racing are the core of Naadam, a traditional Mongolian sports festival that is also a national holiday. Even though Naadam is celebrated nationwide and most vigorously in the capital, Ulan Bator, its local celebrations among small communities living in remote steppes have an incredible atmosphere.
