Ladakh is a region in India located between the main Himalayan range and the Karakoram Mountains. Here, as in the lens, you can see the influence of the environment on human behaviour. The pace of life is totally different than in huge Indian urban agglomerations. Buddhism regulates social relations to a large extent, and the inhabitants have great humility towards nature, on which their survival entirely depends.
